Crash on Install

I can't seem to figure out why it's crashing. It gets to 99% complete, then fully crashes Steam entirely. I tested downloading other games, they worked fine. Restarted, checked my BIOS, checked Hardware Temps, cleared the Download Cache, tried a different install location, no dice. Is something wrong with the Street Fighter 6 Manifest? Any suggestions?

On one hand, I'm glad it's not just me, on the other, man does that suck.

Any chance you also pre-loaded the game too? Just to see if maybe that angle is part of the problem.

Yeah, i pre-loaded too and did all the same stuff as you.

Hey, I solved my problem. Go to setting > downloads >Steam Library Folders>> three dots > fix folder.

Same problem, stuck at around 84%. Tried everything but fixing the folder, did it really work for you guys?

Axiun's fix did not work in my case. I have had ongoing issues with it. Best I can suggest is to clear the download cache, fully uninstall (not just delete, use the Uninstall Game option), and close out of Steam, reboot the computer, and install Street Fighter 6 onto a drive that did not contain pre-load version data. This MAY fix the problem, if you have a drive that wasn't touched by the games pre-load data. I was lucky enough for this to (somewhat) work as I can at least finish the install. There's other issues, like launch failures and crashes, but those could be any number of related or unrelated problems.
