Possible game breaking bug in World Tour?

In chapter 8-4, the game asks you to take a picture of a 'Legendary fighter in Japan'. I did just that, the game even acknowledges that I did what it asked because I received a message from the quest giver saying "No denying he's from Japan, that's for sure". The mission objective however remained the same and there are no waypoints in the map.

While playing the quest, I encountered a network error #code. but I didn't save it.

I think my Main quest line got stuck here.
Should I restart the world tour...?

you have to go-to world map and goto japan and take a picture of Ryu, hope this helps!

I'm litterally in chapter 7 and I barely played 2 hours lol. I just wanna unlock Juri in chapter 12

I think... it's about 3-8hrs. I'm trying to collect something so it's taking for a while.
