Grainy looking graphics
So I have this problem where the character models in the game look very grainy like on the character select screen, etc. My graphic settings don't seem to fix it. Does it have to do with nvidia control panel or something else? I have a 3060 TI.

buy more metal and silicon like a good PC master does, more and more and more and more and more and more

The game has quite a lot of sharpening it seems, we really need an option to turn it down.

You can toggle this to 1 in the config.ini. It's here on my PC:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Street Fighter 6

[RenderConfig]
ImageQualityRate=1

It will fix it but your game will be WAY WAY more demanding. It brought my 3080 to its knees. Gotta figure out what settings to lower when I use this.

That's wierd. I have 3080 and I can run the demo at 1440p all max settings with ImageQualityRate = 2 (2x the resolution) just fine (stable 60 fps in fights). Try the demo with the same settings and see if it's better,
since this issue seems a lot like the other denuvo cases I've encountered.

The default Image Scaling is 1. Put it in 1.5 or higher will improve the visual with moderate fps hit. The grainy hair is just RE engine at work. Old tech, old visual that's all.

"Old tech, old visual, modern requirements" - sould be a slogan for Capcom :candyman:

It's not scaling, it's excessive sharpening. You can see it causes grainy artifacts when doing an SPD with the motion blur and fast movement. This is even at 4K.

if only we had 3 more cores and DX13

Yeah, either increasing image scaling or using dsr should help with it... the only problem i have with the re engine is this sharpening filter.. with dsr u can also tune down image scaling a bit to avoid losing too much performance

Where exactly is the image scaling? I'm in the Graphics settings and I don't see it.

Getting a lot of grainy skin at the character select and battle settings now. Haven't noticed it before. Very annoying. Everything is on high.

EDIT:
[RenderConfig]
ImageQualityRate=1.5

Did the trick for me. Haven't noticed loss of frames, either.
