Local custom character fights

I'm kind of disappointed; I thought I could use custom characters in Fighting Grounds' local fights, just like in Soul Calibur 6.

I wanted to have silly fun with friends, but it looks like custom characters are limited to your one dude in World Tour, and your avatar in Battle Hub...

The game is otherwise great fun. Capcom, please consider letting us having silly custom character matches in local VS!

Likewise. It sucks that they've pulled so far away from their couch multiplayer roots. Me and my brother would love to go back to making custom characters and playing them against each other like in the old Soul Cal days, but it's not possible nowadays.

This sucks, guys. Don't let me make a character and then give me nothing to do with them :(

and the problem is what you can still play with your friends in avatar fights why do u want to go into fighting grounds with them whats diffrent in there that isnt done in the hub

Wait what about online? My friend and I have the game, are we able to fight each other with our created characters? Like in a regular street fighter match where we can pick any map and fight normally, not the weird World Tour mode style fighting.
