Tired driver update, directx update, Visual C++ update, disabled Anti-virus, incresed VRAM on disc, executed as Admin.. nothing fix that crash till now
EDIT: Full specs info just incase
EVGA FTW3 GeForce RTX 3080 10GB Model
I7-10700k not OC
64GB DDR4 Ram xmp enabled
game is on a m.2.
I checked the event logger and it reports .net error when it crashes but even updating that doesn't do anything. Probs gonna have to wait for a patch.
RTX 2060 SUPER OC WINDFORCE 8GB
RYZEN 7 3700X
32 GBs DDR4 ram
Hopefully this gets all figured out soon. Its a strange one.
Denuvo can cause issues with performance, but my dude a direct 3d error won't be caused by Denuvo. Denuvo does NOTHING to any graphic adapter you ignoramus.
I don't defend ANY corporations. But unlike you tools, I try to find the actual cause of an issue, not just blame the first easy thing to blame. I'm glad none of you work in IT. Nothing would function of such tools were responsible for anything.
Can you stop talking if you don't have anything useful to resolve this issue thanks
You know what the fun part of this is?
Unlike you who spammed every posts possible with 'this is denuvo its a fact' comments, I was one of the only ones who actually attempted to troubleshoot people throughout the night.
So you can sit down and be the one staying silent.
• update your OS. use sfc scannow to look up for any issues.
• disable windows firewall/windows defender completely.
• disable windows game mode and game bar. i like them, but in most cases they are the culprit as majority of gaming community says so.
• turning off every game overlay you have. i was only using steam and amd, but many people have discord and many people won't care about it's overlay. just turn all of them off.
• use -dx11 argument on the game, from steam.
• go to game's exe, and run it administrator, disable fullscreen optimizations and run it on windows 7 compatibility mode.
• uninstall any other video codecs you have. also, uninstall every video players you have, unless it's from windows.
• if you have any other dlls on your game folder, like reshade or dlc unlockers, remove them.
• clear at least 100gb of space on drive where your windows have been installed.
• use ddu in safe mode to remove your gpu drivers. full install most recent one.
• disable any enchancement features that your gpu driver offers - like anti-lag from amd, in my case.
• when boot up your game, go to main menu and turn on shader compliation. wait around 20~ minutes to finish them.
this is how i fixed, more or less. i played for 2 hours and never crashed. hope it works for you.
And I just realize game didn’t crash for me at all, the only thing I need to do is leave this stupid notification alone and click back to game screen and I’m all good to play, waste half a day on this ♥♥♥♥, have no idea why this happen
Edit:
I noticed that when I disabled the geforce overlay, it seemed to help with stability to World Tour mode
