Is there a wireless hitbox style controller?
My pc is connected to my widescreen and I like to play on my couch. Wired isn’t really an option

There are wireless keyboards but I don't think I've ever seen a wireless hitbox.

Very niche, youd probably have to make it yourself or have it custom made.

Not sure what my options are here. I figure I need about 18 feet of cable to reach my computer. Most of these decks come with about 9 feet of cable

USB extension cables are pretty easy to find. Amazon or your local Walmart or equivalent should have some affordable cables that are long enough for the job

They do make fight boards that are wireless. But I don't know of any off the shelf leverless controllers that include them. So you'd either have to buy one of those or build your own leverless controller. I personally built my own leverless by buying the enclosure off the internet (cant' remember where but you can find them on places like Etsy or Ebay), plus the board, cables and buttons. The whole thing is fairly simple to put together (I'm sure there's great Youtube guides now). It's not really that complicated (no soldering) but it can get a bit costly.

Brook makes a wireless pcb that could probably be used/swapped. But I don't know of any off-the-shelf ones off the top of my head.

these days most controllers are still connected by bluetooth while wired, the wire only charges the battery. Maybe a custom made one from an xbox 360 pcb. Do switch controllers connect through USB? Nintendo ftw if so

Isn’t there a limit to how far a usb can extend?

You could look into getting a wireless Power A stick and dropping in an Odin V2 - it is not traditional hitbox layout that way but it IS leverless.

Nah I've daisy chained them before

Technically that adds latency but by spec it's at max 5.2 nano seconds per meter so you'd need a hell of a long cable to care.
