=> In the first hour of game release steam downloaded and installed the missing data while i was playing. And that solved the problem.

Tried verifying files and it still won't work sadly. Could be a huge bug. The classic Day 1 release struggles.

Yeah. Verifying files didn't change anything. According to another post, the dlc has yet to be released...for some reason.

Sorry to hear guys, hoping this gets fixed rather than having to re-install the whole thing again.

Both Fighting Ground and World Tour are DLCs you have to activate.
Incidentally the game now has a 20.5 GB Download remaining that doesn't start because the "App is not Released yet", which is the size of FG and WT combined based on the DLC List.

Seems we can't play because this stupid DLC setup is locking out this content for whatever reason.

Nop it is not the reason
I have all three checked but still cannot play.
In short this game was only partially released, or by the proportion, almost not released yet.

It's because the full game isn't actually live yet.

There have been many times over the years with games where people are able to play a game earlier than its intended launch time but their redeemed DLC wouldn't show up or work in game and that's because the DLC was on a timer to go live during the set time of the game's official release so if you were playing the game early it wouldn't be possible to access the DLC because you were technically playing the game ahead of it's intended release.

Middle East ( Oman ): same problem here can't choose fighting grounds or world tour. in the hub i can't even train and only 2 characters.

UPDATE: After restarting Steam that last 20 gbytes of DLC downloaded and now it's working fine.

street fighter japan twitter announced they know about the issue and it will be fixed very soon and sorry for the inconvenience.

Untick dlc boxes close steam. open steam tick boxes and update.

Found a solution (may not work but it's worth a try) !!!!
Quit steam and restart/reboot your computer. Steam will patch some files to your game, should work after that

guys try restarting steam the game will update
