Does this have a VS CPU mode?

The reason why I ask was because street fighter v did not have the mode on launch for whatever reason…

Yes, there will be a VS CPU mode. It's in the demo if you want to try it.

it has a vs mode. you can set up cpu's against each other, 2 players, player vs cpu.

SFVI will have an arcade mode on fighting grounds. I do suggest giving the online modes a shot.

Make sure you want the ultimate edition content which is the DLC character pass, 2 costume packs and 2 stages plus some in-game currency (not the premium one).

If you want the game + dlc characters only then get the deluxe edition and if you just want the game, standard is for you. The game is going to have paid battle passes so might as well wait and see how bad they are before you go all in.

What's the arcade/story mode this time around? I never touched SF5 because they had barely nothing in the singleplayer department for the first year,

Kinda surprised to find someone who doesn't know already, as I would say it's been one of the most publicised aspects of the game, but an internet search of "Street Fighter 6 World Tour" should give you plenty of info about that.

There is a traditional arcade mode and also a separate single player World Tour mode where you make your own character and upgrade them RPG style in a semi-open world.
