Will you decline a match against a wi-fi player?
SF6 gives you an indicator if your opponent is using Wifi or not before accepting the match.

Will you decline matches against Wifi players? For me, I will not decline. The netcode is good enough when people have stable enough Wifi. I'm not exactly going for Evo top 8 either so it's all good vibes here.

I don't. Personally most of the time its not that big a deal.

2/3 or 3/5 bars wifi though? Yeah not a chance. Wired connection i find 3/5 can be fine but on wifi its too unstable and laggy.

Full bars yeah sure ive no problem. The problem isnt wifi imo its that a decent amount of people on wifi have bad connections

yes, without any hesitation.

Yes.

If the match is lagging win or lose, no rematch. If I run into the player again they're blacklisted.

i plan to do the exact same

nope, the netcode is so much better this time I would only blacklist really bad connections.

I'll verse anyone. The FGC is becoming an Onion article about itself lately. I've seen other posts claiming no laptops and nothing but fiber optic internet connections in terms of people who should be allowed to play online. They're a tumor trying to surgically remove the body.

No because wifi6 is better than most wired internet connections.

REMAINS TO BE SEEN. NOBODY HAS PLAYED THE GAME YET.

Should raise the bar

If you don’t have at least a 1gb fibre optics line you should have your match refused

I don’t want to hear people hating on Wi-Fi whilst they sit on a pedestrian copper wire line

yes i would, i will always, its 3$ for a cable, you don't have one because you are lazzy.
"but my house is big or the router is far" -> powerline friends

Get stable connection for competitive games, if you don't you are not respecting your opponent and you should be declined to play. simple as that. Truth hurts, but it's the truth sorry

If someone wants to participate in ranked they should pass the performance and connection quality benchmarks. Play the solo content on a Gameboy for all I care. When it comes to game modes that affect other's enjoyment of the game you should fulfill the minimum requirements. I don't see anything wrong with this.

"I really like the F1 races but I can't afford the car so if you don't let me participate with my Ford Fiesta then you're a bigot."

No one is asked to land on the moon. Just lay down a tiny cable and don't play ranked on your grandma's laptop.
