2/3 or 3/5 bars wifi though? Yeah not a chance. Wired connection i find 3/5 can be fine but on wifi its too unstable and laggy.
Full bars yeah sure ive no problem. The problem isnt wifi imo its that a decent amount of people on wifi have bad connections
ranked = yes
i plan to do the exact same
If you don’t have at least a 1gb fibre optics line you should have your match refused
I don’t want to hear people hating on Wi-Fi whilst they sit on a pedestrian copper wire line
"but my house is big or the router is far" -> powerline friends
Get stable connection for competitive games, if you don't you are not respecting your opponent and you should be declined to play. simple as that. Truth hurts, but it's the truth sorry
If someone wants to participate in ranked they should pass the performance and connection quality benchmarks. Play the solo content on a Gameboy for all I care. When it comes to game modes that affect other's enjoyment of the game you should fulfill the minimum requirements. I don't see anything wrong with this.
"I really like the F1 races but I can't afford the car so if you don't let me participate with my Ford Fiesta then you're a bigot."
No one is asked to land on the moon. Just lay down a tiny cable and don't play ranked on your grandma's laptop.
