is denuvo really that big of a deal?

ive bought countless games with denuvo and never had a negative experience. they all run at a stable 60fps 1080p without any issues. genuinely, why do people hate it? the only people I can picture being negatively affected by it in a meaningful way are people playing on potatoes and/or people that want to pirate the game and have to wait for a crack.

You don't know much about pirating scene, do you? In the past, some groups was able to crack old-version Denuvo and most of them was recruited by Denuvo, some other was taken down by authorities, like Voksi. The latest version of Denuvo can't be cracked by anyone on pirating scene other than Empress, who is mentally unstable.

Why do you think Sega games like P5R, Judge Eyes, Lost Judgment aren't cracked until today when despite many people really want to play those games? Because Empress doesn't care about Sega and won't crack their games.

Empress is the only one who can crack current version of Denuvo and there's a limit of what one person can do, and if many publishers put Denuvo on their games there is 99% chance that their games won't be cracked as long as they're (or the IP owner) not in bad terms with Empress.

I posted this on the previous page but people don't realize that there's a difference between Denuvo Anti-Tamper and Anti-Cheat. This game only has Anti-Tamper, not Anti-Cheat. Anti-Cheat is the one that hurts performance, not Anti-Tamper.

Oh yes, but I was thinking in the World Tour mode, Capcom invested a lot in the single player campaign. As for preordering games I know, I preorder literally 4 games in the last 10 years, two from From Soft, but I let my guard down this time.

i don't think world tour will effect sale at least in sane people that care about games. the think runs poorly 30fps capped, oddly any expericne out of it, muted secene.
people preordering and paying 60$ for this is very dumbskull. half-backed product to please the massess. the only thing I care in a fighting game is the fighting game.
