I find it gives SF more of a consistent identity than it's had before. Like, I remember SF2 and SF4 where it really just felt like a bunch of random places in the world where fights just happened to be going down as part of a *VERY* loosely organised tournament with barely any spectators and it never grabbed me.
Now, it feels a bit more like an actual "street fight" while still keeping the "international fighting" theme.

All movies you posted here, looks more Street Fighter than this entire game. RIP Sf6, to me this is not Street Fighter.
its really not that much of an improvement over SF5, worse in some ways.
Capcom games are really mid, even RE series.
