The only gamepad i have is not working Dualshock 3 from old PS3 super slim from 2014
If not a fight stick, gamepad is great too. Or a hitbox.
And yeah if you know how to map it a keyboard works also.
I had no problems whatsoever in SF4, since the game was focused on fighting only.
I`ve been playing SF since 4, and 6 is way better than 5 about kb&m navigation. And finally you can bind more than 8 keys like SF4 (i had to learn to throw with two buttons instead of one).
And about the engine change, it really improved the charge characters because of a unreal engine bug that makes you directionals stuck.
The only thing weird is accept being F instead of enter.
I have to say k&m in general really improved from 5.
It's preference and comfort. I use a pad and still have an arcade stick. Both are fine for me.
Whatever you choose to use In shooters and other PC games I have to control the mouse left-handed. That's from arcades and playing old computer games as a kid.
I'm actually playing using a HOTAS and my feet. Guy needs to GitGud.
