Literally having a blue haired femboy as an announcer is very unusual for SF.
There's organizations with power that want this stuff in games. They want it everywhere so your kids see it and think it's a normal option when they are having a hard time fitting in or they are feeling weird about life. Guess what. You're going to have bad experiences and you'll have to work on socializing in huge group settings, but that doesn't mean you can start wearing a dinosaur costume to school and only communicate in roar noises and when you have to select boy or girl you select t-rex.
Phuck that.
This is a fighting game and it's trying to mix strength and competitiveness with some weird soft woke ♥♥♥♥. I'll play the demo, but I don't support this direction. I always used to think Capcom was cool, too.... Shame on them. Who do they think we are? They always have a gay or trans dude and guess what, they almost always have him be a person of color. They do it with females, too: in shows, movies and games, if it's a manly lesbian, it's almost always a woman of color looking like Bangalore from Apex.
They want young, strong, bright, minds to see on the screen someone who resembles them -- same skin color, same facial features, but that character's gay in almost every show. Interesting. Or the young brother or sister sees women of color on the screen and the women looks and act like a man in half the content they see. Perspective shaping.
dont worry, capcom will not bankrupt because of your 60$ boycott, you wont be missed
Bruh, they're called Eternity.
You don't seem to use English as your first language, so it might be that you live in a part of the world where people defying gender norms would be at high risk of violence.
Maybe your LGBTQIA+ family would be more open to challenging gender norms if they weren't at risk? You could try talking to them about it, but because you yourself get upset by gender representations, they might not want to be honest with you if it's clear that you are prejudiced on this matter.
Try and look at the context of things. This is designed to normalize deviant lifestyles.
Crawl back into your hole grandpa.
