Local multiplayer on keyboard

You can go in settings and edit the controls for both P1 and P2 but P2's controls don't respond when you are on the versus mode controller select. Is this a demo thing or a SF6 thing cuz I was looking foward to playing with my brother when it releases...

Figured it out. Go to control options and in other input settings turn on keyboard standalone mode. Only then will you be able to play local with keyboard and controller

@gianzo no no sorry if I wasn't clear. I mean BOTH players of keyboard simultaneously

Buy a controller. I recommend an M30 -- wired, bluetooth and all six buttons on the face.

I disabilited steam controller in steam option for SF6. In game, my option is in "keyboard standalone mode". . I remap my input in controller setting and everyting work fine (testing). But when i go in VS screen i can't move " P2" on right (or left) .... And COM is always on the right... And when i try testing controls in VS screen the keys don't work... I have no idea how to fix it

Have you figured it out yet? I want to play it with my brother on the same keyboard as well like we always did in SF4. I don't understand why the newer titles don't allow this. It isn't possible in SF5 and it's weird that SF6 has the option to set the controls for player two on keyboard like in SF4 since it looks like it isn't possible as well. What's the point of letting us do that it isn't going to let us play local multiplayer on the same keyboard. Anyway, I'll just use a virtual controller until Capcom fixes this bs
