Fightstick Problems
Not sure if this is the most helpful place for this, but I'm trying to get ready for SF6 and having some fightstick issues. This specific issue I'm having is with the joystick itself. Everything works perfectly for about 10 minutes of use right when I boot up my PC, then I start getting random up inputs for the joystick immediately preceding a crouch or side movement input. Essentially, whenever I try to crouch or move sideways I'll get a random up input preceding the movement causing me to jump. The stick is a Victrix Pro FS, the original one.

I've completely changed out the gate and joystick itself - issue is still there.
I've changed out the cable connecting the fightstick to my PC - issue is still there.
I've done a factory reset on the fightstick - issue is still there.
I've clean out the internals of the fightstick with pressurized air - issue is still there.

Only thing I haven't done is change out the 5 pin connector from the board to the stick itself, or changed out the entire board and wired components. What is the issue? Static? Drivers? Faulty parts? Getting really frustrated as I spent like 300 bucks on this thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just want to check - are you using the cracked beta? Because Beta 2 messes with your inputs if it’s not connected to the Capcom servers, even though the crack developed for Beta 1 will still get it open, technically.

Just want to eliminate that before we get any deeper. Arcade sticks are pretty simple beasts, really - it’s very strange that one would work for 10 minutes and then fail consistently.

No, playing only on Fightcade. Same thing happened today, worked for about 30 minutes then started getting the up inputs again. I tested the analogs through a program and got some weird results though. When I press up the analog reads a full 1.00 movement up, when I press down it reads like -0.17 down. Essentially the distance the input travels when I press down is significantly less than how far it goes up when I press up. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Dumb question, you don't have any other controllers plugged in?

Okay - honestly, the only thing I can think of is that the mobo inside of the stick is busted. I've seen other people reporting random inputs with Victrix stuff (not up and down, but often just random buttons) and it's always because there's been some failure in the electronics.

If you've replaced the physical stick, and the cable to the computer, outside of getting another arcade stick plugged in to see if the problem repeats itself (and I strongly suspect it won't), it means that the you're going to need to replace the PCB, and you'll probably need to contact the manufacturer for one of those.

Or get a Brook board, but I have no idea about how simple it would be to fit one - I've not owned a Victrix, but looking at shots of the guts, it looks like everything is pretty locked down in there.

Sounds like software issue. Fight Stick is considerably simple device as all digital input.

I'm not familiar with Fightcade, but issue might be on the software.

Set Xinput (most common for current games) on device and check with following site.
https://gamepadviewer.com/

If it does not recognize or seems not working, you can check with USBDeview.

For testing, you can use free version of DOA6 or any other games on Steam.

So it seems that the buttons on the display aren't matching the Fightstick itself. Some are mismatched and the joystick isn't registering at all. Can I reprogram the Fightstick somehow? How would I fix this? My PC recognizes the Fightstick at first but now the stick is also pulling up tabs and entering fullscreen mode and stuff when I hit the buttons. It seems to now be used as a controller for windows lol.

Is botton is not working as suppose?
I wonder you made wrong wiring when you change some parts.
