Honestly I prefer Street Fighter 6s graphics to Tekken 8s. I can't quite put my finger on it but there is just something with how Tekken 8 looks, that doesn't click with me.

SF6 comes out in June

Tekken 8 doesn't have a release date yet but likely will be either late 2023 or early 2024

These games are far enough apart that they aren't taking away much sales from each other

One thing that's for sure is people who make these threads or fling ♥♥♥♥ always turn out to be the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ players in either game

As much as Tekken 8 looks amazing, it's a franchise that is impossible for me to get behind. Even though I wish to play with characters like Zafina, I'll wait for a sale.

Either way I'm SF or Soulcalibur player.

Outside new skins, most moves are the same, game feels like barely touched (as usual with Tekken, unlike SF or MK, where characters usually change a lot from an iteration to another), with many animations copy-pasted (again).

Not impressed.

And let's not even talk about solo content that's never gonna be on part with SF6's, unless they have a HUGE surprise for us, but we all know Harada never worked on solo in that franchise.

And finally : unless they massively rework T7's netcode, not gonna buy T8 day one, considering how bad T7's online has been.
