World tour stuck at chapter 15

I am level 54 despite grinding and there is no way to win that tournament up the mountain. One hit from them gets half my health bar.

Did I do something wrong? I am even grinding my level by buying the EXP boost in France and challenging higher level players. In the tournament the third guy (Honda fighting style) is just impossible.

I was 10 level hgher and it was quite easy. I suggest you either do side quest, leveling the masters also gives you side quests.

"quite easy" lol at level 54 a good combo takes like 0,5% of the health of the opponent and one throw from them takes 50% of mine. You are either lying or you didn't understand what fights.

Make sure you're buying all the stat boosts, make sure you upgrade your equipment, and also know that a lot of the harder fights aren't "Street Fights, Honerable 1v1 combat scenarios" they're more like boss fights where you will have to whittle them down slowly and avoid dying to a few random hits.

Only real way is to overlevel it or just play so incredibly passive it gets dull, fireball spam, command grab spam, JP grab spam.

It's hard but there isn't any real trick other than "you need bigger numbers and more patience".

Yes I just checked on youtube one guy with level 49...he was just spamming energy drinks and some damage boosters multiple times in every fight till he finished the tournament....

Poah I am glad the world tour ends with this chapter, I'm going it really only for the achievement. I guess time to go do minijobs and buy all those drinks

Yeah, it's a cute mode but it really shows that this is their first attempt at this. World Tour is a little slow to start and then overstays it's welcome in the second half.

I usually finish World Tour shortly after completing the initial run through the skill tree, which is around level 61 when I do it. My gear is best for stat and fully enhanced with 4 threads each. The hardest part of the tournament is Cardboard Contestant, because he has a cheap gimmick he likes to spam. If you've taken on Carlos Montoya in his final duel, you'll know what I mean. Everyone else was business as usual. When I ran through it as a Marisa/Zangief/Honda avatar, the whole tournament was cake in the early 60s, level-wise. In my latest run as a Kimberly/Cammy/Chun avatar, I struggled against Cardboard's gimmick and had to deplete my supply of medium energy drinks.
