the leaks also mentioned rashid and A.K.I. and they are confirmed and in Rashid's case he is already in the game
Because it's World Tour mode and he has to. Even Akuma isn't powerful enough to break a contract.
i mean what would his reason be lorewise?
Perhaps your avatar will watch Akuma beating people up, and learn that way.
Or, maybe, Akuma has mellowed out in his old age. He does have an odd set of morals, he's not a mindless killer:
What leaks are you talking about? Capcom has confirmed Rashid, Ed, A.K.I, and Akuma. Trailer below is straight from the mothership.

i was talking the onee who said it was all fake
Everchosen was replying to that person (the one who said it was all fake), not to you.
Yeah it basically writes itself. Akuma shows up beats your ass, says some ♥♥♥♥ about sensing hidden power in you and to come seek him out. You do your quests or whatever, it comes to a finale where you are on the verge of tapping into the Satsui no Hadou. Ryu shows up and is like "Oh no don't do that it's bad" and tries to fight Akuma but gets dunked on, which somehow inspires your character not do it.
You beat up Akuma. Ryu goes to congratulate you, but in a shocking heel turn you hit him with the Raging Demon. You and Akuma then laugh at Ryu's lifeless body and walk off into the sunset.
El Fuerte cooks Ryu's body. Everyone says it tastes terrible, except Ken, who kinda likes it.
