Tips for Guile?
Hi!
Kind of noob in SF.. used to play ED in 5 because I had no rotation and onlu button combos which I loved
Since he's not in 6 I took on Guile(since Jamie is stupidly hard and unfair)
I understand how to do his combos like the charged one..so on and forth
But the SPECIALS ARE KILLING ME(sry caps)
like [hold]< > which is okey is the sonic boom
I can do that
and then another < >
I am just not doing it
it literally just throws a light punch
Like..I am not even talking about doing it in a combo
Just standing there and 50% of the times I will straight up missing it

Any tips to do that? I keep trying to find a way like the Z I do on Ken Shoriuken
but so far no luck

Only 1 fireball on screen at a time, and charge time is long in this game

If you're talking about his supers you just gotta whip the stick back and forth really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast after charging. Also Guile has no Z inputs.

Main big thing for Guile is ABC, Always Be Charging. Even for combos the goal for his hitstrings is just to down back charge for long enough to get a flashkick out.

I find it hard to consistently get charge back, forward, back, forward on controller pad or analogue stick.

Fight stick (Mayflash F500 Elite): easy.

Mechanical gaming keyboard: every time.

I'm thinking about getting a hitbox as buttons for movement is great. Note that you want jump on space to emulate a hitbox on keyboard.

There are no DP (shoryuken) motions for Guile.

You can find in controller options one that says something like ''make action on release'' (Sorry I don't play in English, but I think it might be similar), that helps me a lot with the charge commands.

So you can cast a Sonic Boom and just hold the button and release it for the next one. You can do other imputs too despite you keep holding it. Remember that said Oracular, just 1 Sonic Boom on screen at once, so wait till it connects or leave the screen.

That setting is called "negative edge."

Personally negative edge has messed me up more often than not. I gained an aversion to it after KI.
