Why does Ken need to go?
- Gouken, Hugo, Sodom, Kolin, T. Hawk, Bison, Vega, Sagat, and Sheng Long (hidden boss)
- tag mod and/or "dramatic battle" (2v2, 1v2 etc.)
- online filter for control scheme type
- online filter for mirror matches
- classic BGM / themes
Change:
- Supers to x3 buttons (optional)
- reduce "Perfect Parry" damage scaling to 25%
- increase "Burn Out" de-buffs (reduced defence / damage)
Allow:
- WT mode and the online hub content to be deleted from game files (to save disk space)
- if you repeat the same combo multiple times after each other you gain less meter
- give everyone free access to all costume colors, they already payed 60 $ for them.
- redesign the look of Marisa and Jamie
- Nerf Ken and Kimberly
- replace J.P with another trap character which fits better into the roster, like Menat
- change the dlc characters for the first year to Dudley/Balrog, C.Viper, M. Bison, Makoto/Sakura, El Fuerte/R.Mika
2) Make DI use enormous bar ressources. I think DI can be spammed 6 times right ? Better make DI use 3 bars so you can just use it 2 times only.
Spam monkeys will have a very hard time fighting without their "precious DI"... since they can't fight without it.
I'd remove manon's permanent buffs, or scale them differently.
Jamie's buffs would be revamped too - maybe it takes him 3 drinks to max out, but he loses max over time and when hit, similar to yun SA3. In exchange, he could have access to more specials at level 1.
JP would be a stance character, with most of his closeup tools inaccessible while doing the zoner thing
Not sure how Edmond would change, but he def would.
Kens fast overhead stomp followup is more unsafe, closer to his oldschool overhead -- he can still have his other nonsense
Chunli would be renamed to Chuli and portrayed by the Chuli npc
Lily gets more tools
Luke's perfect flash knuckles get 1 hit of armor from the flash frames to shortly before hitting -- it can smash throw slow unsafe pokes but lose to mashing lp
Dalsim's slide is as safe as ibuki's slide, parry or no parry
I'd make L3s weaker, especially command throw ones which work as AAs, win against di, parry, throw, jab, etc -- but they're pretty much all too strong, and the animations take forever -- An example of what a good L3 would be is like Ibuki SA2 -- It does a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of damage, but getting that damage can be hard to do, so landing it feels rewarding. same with raging demon, or ryu's SA2. Every SA3 should have multiple weaknesses, whether its block, throw, jab, jump, backdash, whatever. Like with luke all you have to do is jedi mindtrick people to jump and catch them with it for free, and very likely win the match then and there... or hit confirm i to it, or combo into it, or just do it when they push buttons or fireball. It's goofy, it needs more weaknesses, and a shorter animation. This goes for the entire cast

How about this: everybody can drive rush fullscreen! The basic current parry DR is 1 meter, additional distance covered before canceling costs additional meter (maybe draining at 2x the rate of parrying?) -- and can be cancelled into a jump or backdash in addition to normals
-- ok, maybe not "everybody" -- but at the very least melee focused characters without lots of super armor

Bro ♥♥♥♥ throw loops. I hate 50 50 guessing 3 times if hes gonna throw or hit me. Iv started throw teching and i think its helping but im not sure.
hitbox is way easier than stick. Faster easier inputs for motion. You should see the standing 720 that zangief can do on hitbox. This is why lots of pros are switching over and controller does matter. I wouldnt say it matters enough at anything below plat where good players can take full advantage of it though. Below that its all just learning curve and skill issue.
Filter people by controller? No. I use the hardest controller which is stick. Having tried ps4 pad and hitbox i know from experience which is the most difficult. But i dont think that below high level gameplay the effect between the controller types is big enough to have a valid difference on matches. Running from people because they have a different controller and you think thats giving them some huge advantage is a joke.
Online filter for mirror matches. I cant even with this one. Everyone hates getting owned by somebody using your character cause it means they are better than you and the matchup is harder in mirrors because they other person knows your move set but its super lame to RUN from mirrors. Big scrub energy.
