Sure.
Pros dropping the only game with a cash prize of millionS of dollars.
Clown/10
The better game. Let’s look at Multiversus’ peak: 153,044 on steam… over twice as much as SF6. It being free still shouldn’t allow such a disparity.
Most pros like Punk are bored. Some of them are either playing Diablo 4 or just better FGs like KoF XV. When KoF XV gets crossplay… SF6 is done. Mark my words.
No I am good, but thanks for your words anyway.
MK aint better than my ass. Boring trashcan.
KoF is ugly af also
Sure there's Modern controls to lower the skill floor, but the ceiling's been raiaed sky high.
For one, Drive Rush needs you to land not one, but 2 links to be worth it: the cancellable normal into the rush normal, then the rush normal into a cancellable normal. So it's twice as easy to drop compared to FADC.
Second is Drive Impact and Drive Parry change the game from the usual 3 rock paper scissors (hit vs block vs throw) to 5. And Drive Impact leads to its own combo route, Drive Parry has its own set of frame data.
Sure it's easier to mash but once players start going up against Drive Rush mixups into corner throw/overhead/low/DI that's when the learning cliff smacks them in the face.
Which is a tough one because this is ultimately an esports game and it's interesting at high level but probably too much for most casuals to stick around and power through the learning curve.
I mean you're right, i'm glad Multiversus is still alive and kicki- oh wait, didn't Multiversus' servers shut down only a few months after release?
lmao
