Which ones?
This shouldn't be new information to you if you watched what was linked to you. why comment when you don't know what is being discussed?
Because I don't like clicking videos that could potentially be sensationalism made just to make money off clicks
Granted, with the capcom leak they're clearly being told to check off a list, opposed to designing the characters from an artistic point of view.. but to pretend people don't take advantage of culture war to make a profit would just be plain naive
I don't got to their site because I don't want the author getting any traffic or engagement from me.
what's your point?
Their point is that it's a single individual persons opinion, on the Internet that happens to be full of billions of people
This always brings me back to the "guilt by association" argument.. because I've met people within the lgbt community that aren't snowflakes and pretty down to earth, much like I known people with right-wing opinions but they're not hateful racist or homophobic people
People need to stop with the "us vs them" mentality and start treating people as individuals instead of groups
You're also operating under the false assumption that there's greater financial incentive to be counter culture, but youtube intentionally disables all monetization features for people who don't align with "the current thing" woke ideology, and you lose access to most sponsors, and SEO limits visibility of your channel and tags.
Exactly. Holy crap people need to put things into perspective. Not every opinion you disagree with is a "SLAP IN THE FACE TO REAL GAMERS".
Notice, that I didn't accuse this author of calling for censorship, I simply said that game companies value their opinions more than customers, and this dictates what content is allowed in our games.
That wasn't an accusation, but an explanation as to why I didn't click the video
And 100% there's people who profit off the alt-right just as much as the alt-left, maybe not so much on youtube or twitter but there is money to be made from being "anti-woke".. which to me is just as bad as being woke... most people just want to live, and not have to deal with aggravated people all the time
