What is this tank top?

Pretty simple question. I ran into a random NPC lady sporting a tank top I like. Since the NPCs are made from most of the same bits we have access to, I figure this has to be available to earn somewhere. Does anyone anyone have any idea where?

Specifically, I'm talking about the lady on the left of the screenshot, the one in the red tanktop.

That is a top obtainable from fighting red named enemies in a certain area and completing their battle challenges. I'm unsure of which area, so just go around beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of every red name you see until you find it (Each individual type of red name, should fight at least 3 of each to be sure of the drops) Otherwise unobtainable.

Aren't enemy name colours dependent on their level relative to mine? I don't recall seeing any such. Do you have any additional information on that?

That aside - so you're saying that's a drop from fighting aggressive NPCs? OK, I'll keep an eye out, then. If they're red named, then that's probably somewhere in Nayshal?

The red thing? That's called a sports bra. They make ones that you wear under shirts, and ones you can wear as a shirt while working out in hot conditions.

I should rename the thread. I'm aware of what it IS :) My question is where to get one in-game. The only one I have access to right now is by using the "Bare Torso" option, and that one can't be recoloured.

Well, I looked all over Old Nyshall, both day and night. There were plenty of clothing items, but not that one. It's not in any of the stores, either. I'll have to go back through Metro City and see if I can find it on any of the enemies - civilian or hostile. So far, no dice.

Seriously, why is it so hard to find anything with a midriff in this game? :)

Never did, no. It's not on any of the enemies in Nayshall and I've not seen it anywhere in Metro City. I really wish there were a database of costume items somewhere, but this game doesn't really seem to have much in the way of a "wiki".

That tank top / sports bra seems to be part of a "boxing" set, as it appeared on one of the contestants with a full boxing set (shoes, gloves, shorts). Sadly, that's the one piece I don't have of that set.

Like, I haven't seen the championship belt drop or lucha pants... the mask drops at least

I know you can get Zangief's flackies belts which are like the Championship belts if that's of interest. Otherwise I hear people talk about Teacher specific drops where you need to max their style and you can repeatedly challenge them. S'about all I know as I need to regrind lol

I maxed out and completed relations with Juri, Cammy and Kimberly but I don't recall seeing gear in their final battles. I'll check again later to be sure, but I'm pretty sure Ryu's headband is the exception and not the rule. I could be wrong

It isn't. It's a different texture and a different mesh. Yes, it's still a belly shirt, but it has more material to it and doesn't have the underwear elastic band. If you're going off of just my screenshot this may not be immediately obvious. It's a pretty bad pic. However, it's pretty obvious from seeing it on NPCs, especially some of the masked "enemies".

I'm not sure about this specific top but some World Tour items can only be obtained in the Battle Hub shop which will rotate through items on a schedule.

I think everything that is in World Tour that you see NPCs wearing is obtainable just not actually obtainable at all times which sucks.

I would rather have everything that's being shown on NPCs in World Tour be obtainable via World Tour while Battle Hub had its own unique items as in stuff you don't see NPCs in World Tour mode wearing like the bat wings for instance.

Just checked, none of them offer gear as objective rewards during spar
I only know for sure that Ryu does
