Street Fighter 6 Potential To Be Game Of The Year?

Do people think SF6 has the potential to be game of the year? 70k played
on steam and more on consoles etc. So is best Street Fighter game?
Surely will win awards for best of its genre?most new games have flop in 2023
So potential to be contender is def there? better than SF5 how?

SF is good game but little to hard for new u know this playstyle more friendly is Tekken but awesome is finaly Tekken 8 get cross ofc sf5 and 6 have croos plat.And nah people dont play figthing games is to hard for all i guess thats why sf or tekken dont winner :D

It is a very successful fighting game so far, which is to say, it's got no chance in hell but it's cool that it's doing well.

RE 4 remake or Spider-man 2 for sure one of this 2, starfield and everything else including the overhyped zelda gonna win something but not the goty reward lol my best guess is spider-man 2 simple cuz you can change on the go the 3 characters that you gonna play 9spidey ,miles and venom )

Yeah no.

I mean I got it because I enjoyed the Xenoverse games a lot. I only cared about World Tour, and while it felt half as long as it should have been and the story was kinda meh it was still a blast to play.

I even hope they make a World Tour 2 down the line with enough storyline to rival Xenoverse 2.

At the end of the day it doesn't have the mass appeal for a GOTY.

SF6 is a good game but no way it's beating Zelda. It won't even beat something like Diablo 4 if it ends up on the list.

If you're a pvp game, especially a sequel, you're auto-gimped against PVE games for GOTY awards.

Last pvp game I remember getting GOTY was Overwatch in like 2016, but that game was insane for its time. Overwatch 2 on the other hand ain't getting any GOTY awards in 1000 years lol.

It's a fighting game. Niche user base and Fromsoft has the new Armored Core coming out soon. They're a media darling thanks to the Souls games so I'd expect it to get massive media coverage.
