After that, knowing all the masters cap out at Level 70, I began visiting them one after another, and cycling through that, making sure I always finish them with a Super Move, as all of them grant extra XP for doing so, which results in about 5000-9000XP per Master, depending if you hit their third XP bonus as well, which changes or may not even be there.
Once you're done with the last of them, the first one has already reset so you can begin the cycle anew.
That is how I did it, it gave me a good idea of how the AI uses their moves as well, so it doubled as general training for that. Just be ready to spend a LOT of Airplane tickets.
Edit: If the masters are not at Level 60 or 70, you may need to raise their specific Style Level. I can not say if there is a threshold there, since I first maxed the styles out, so that was done when I began this method.
They do reset like any other NPC after a while, with the first one you started with being reset once you are done with the last one.
actually sorta on but off topic, i beat world tour, maxed my skill tree, found no option for SA3.
i respecced, went thru again... still didnt unlock SA3.
wat the hell did i do wrong lol, i feel like such a dumbass. was it a skill i was supposed to unlock that i somehow didnt see both times?
You can restart your skill tree from scratch if that's so.
You have to get ALL the Extended Super Gauge picks in the skill tree. One is mandatory and can not be missed, the other is actually a choice you can not take. This would leave you at just a Gauge of 2, and thus unable to do the SA3 moves.
Edit: It's also possible that you are not yet at the point in the skill trees to pick the second Super Art Gauge Extension, but have reached enough Tech XP for your master to teach you the SA3 move they have. In that case, you can set that move once you have taken that extension to actually have 3 bars of Super Art Gauge.

Just for clarification: To get the bonus, is it a special move finish (like a Reg or OD Tatsu) or super art finish (i.e. Shoryureppa lvl 3, Shin Shoryuken, etc)??
I maybe should have been more clear about that. To get the last style move from them, which is always their SA3 move, you have to win a fight against them, and they are usually between Level 20 - 30 when they do that.
Once you have done that, and likely have maxed out their style XP in order to get that move, they will from then on offer another duel, but their level is boosted to their max level for that.
That Level varies from Master to Master, Luke maxes out at 60, Chun-Li is 65. The highest one of them gets, though, is Level 70, which I think is JP.
You have to finish(!) them with a Super Art. That means SA1, SA2 or SA3. It doesn't matter if that is done in the first round, that also counts.
If you hit Pause during their match, you can see what other conditions they have you can meet, to maybe squeeze out even more. Sometimes they have a rare costume part, Ryu has both parts of his Gi, Chun-Li sometimes has her hair buns as an accessoire, Ken seems to ALWAYS have a Ken shirt if you beat him with Ryus style.
If you are struggling just do scrap heap 1 or 2 for money and then get a bunch of healing items in nayshall cave base.
