You will not get banned for using mods that do not affect other people. Is it allowed? No, never has been, but Capcom won't dig into your PC and ban you because you are using a naked mod on Luke (I know that's what you wanted to do from the first place, heh...)

Online maybe?

It has a whole single player mod so for that I doubt it.

I would read this, if you truly need to know something like that:

Mods that only affect you that do not affect gameplay are fine. Skins are 100% cool.
Something that reveals hurtboxes and training tools in online play? Nah bro, cringe.

Yes
Its technically against the EULA. It's just that Capcom has never chosen to enforce it. No one can say it is ok. With that said, you'll be fine.

It is said that only you can see the mods, for they're client based.

So maybe you've played against lots of different characters/skins without even knowing.

Am honestly scared too. So many mods i wanna try. SF6 came out with very little custom content and the fact that you have to buy the premium currency to buy anything remotely good in this game is super annoying. So mods feel like the best way to atleast enjoy something cool. But am afraid if i enter the buttle hub i might get banned for it.

Yeah I think all of the costumes are client side. Been thinking about getting some, I saw a pretty sweet Nergigante skin for Blanka.

Unless you're streaming the game there is literally no way for anyone playing against you or spectating you to know that you're running mods. So go crazy~

Been running mods form the start... A few decent ones for Man: ON now, too. Most are for Cammy, Kimberly, and Chun Li, however 🚮

If the game disallowed mods, I think I'd have refunded it--out of principle alone.

Anything that affect's characters on your side on a cosmetic level is undetectable and impossible to ban. Not sure what would happen if you straight up called capcom to tell them you are modding the game to give Ryu bigger boobs and Cammy a bigger bulge but they literally cant find out any other way.

Not quite. The could do it if they wanted -- case in point: In MKX, if you mod any of its asset files (char. skins), there are cheat hooks that won't run. I know this because I've experienced it. That is to say, there are ways that file modification can be detected, and even if the alterations are only made to asset files.
