This game (steam version) stops my screensaver from working

So I did some process of elimination when I realized my screensaver wasn't working. It works fine on a fresh reboot, but if I just start SF6 once and close it (closing it properly, through the menu, no alt+f4) my screen saver stops working until I reboot the system again.

Anyone else notice this issue?

edit: to be a little more thorough to make sure it's just not steam doing this, I tried launching CounterStrike just now, played for 5 minutes, quit out, and screensaver was still working fine

I noticed the same thing, thought it was just me. Hoping for a fix, not the worse thing that can happen but annoying none the less.

Same issue here for SF6 and RE4, must be some kind of issue with RE Engine
