Is my CPU breaking the game?
Hi all :)

So I have the rtx 2070 and 16gb ram, which is on the recommended list by capcom, but my CPU is only a I5 9400f. The processor is above the minimum requirements, so it should theoretically work, however my tech knowledge isn't the greatest so idk if it's doing something to my GPU? The game runs in slow motion, it's unplayable. Even putting every single setting to the lowest (even the resolution) it still runs the same. Not sure whether I'm missing a setting or something, or maybe it's a bug that needs another solution? No idea. No other game has ever had this problem. Will definitely be disappointing if I can't fix it but I guess it would give me a good kick to get a new CPU lol.

Thanks very much to anyone that answers :)

Edit: Just want to mention that I have the load shaders setting on whilst the game is booting up, so it's not a shader issue.

A 12th or 13th I5s aren't expensive (subjective I know) $200/300

2070 would be fine if you're playing on 1080 resolution.

It's a known issue with the game, you may have a minimum spec CPU, recommended, destroyer-tier, doesn't matter, you're bound to get this issue one time or the other. Not much you can do really but lower the CPU load as much as you can and avoid affected areas, speaking of affected areas:

This is so far ONE of the places with issues.
So far really all you can do is submit a ticket to CAPCOM's tech support about this.

Even putting everything as low as possible as well as 1280x720 resolution still only getting 20fps. Can't quite believe it lol If the i59400f is above the minimum then surely I should be able to run it on lowest settings?

It's whenever I'm in a battle unfortunately so unavoidable, very sad :( Was excited to play!

Logically yes, at least in a match.

5950x and 3090ti, and even I get the occasional frame stutter. Some issues need to be addressed. Thankfully nothing is killer on my end.

Ah sadly mine just isn't playable, 20 fps! Hopefully something gets addressed soon :) I'd be happy with stable 30fps because I could atleast enjoy it.

Game is now working at 60fps on highest settings. Restarted my PC and now the problems are fixed....No idea why that fixed it but I won't complain lol.
