Can you play World Tour with a stick/fightpad?

Just curious, I've played a few SF games before and I hate using R1/R2 for heavy punch/kick (probably why my favorite SF was Alpha 2 on the Saturn).

I'm considering getting a fightpad, but seeing as World Tour has the 3D exploration stuff, is it actually possible to play without the right stick?

Yes, there's a bind in-game for turning the camera but it's clearly designed for the generic style of controller. I still use my mouse for camera whilst playing with stick.

Moving around is going to be incredibly annoying with a stick. You can just plug a controller in +the stick, and use the controller to move while you fight with the stick.

But no, you cannot play world with a stick, if you value your sanity at least.

I was planning to get a FC Octa, it has dpad + left stick, I was wondering specifically about the right stick.

camera handling and running are annoying depending on the button layout but definitely doable as I'm playing with my fightstick

I played through world tour using my mouse to move the camera, had no issues doing that

I'm doing it. There's just no way I'm juggling my arcade stick and my controller, especially when you can get forced into fights.

I played through 100% of World Tour on a fightpad. the button based camera controls might seem awkward at first but I got used to them very quickly. I have no issues when I go into battle hub or jump back into WT mode

while WT and BH were definitely designed with a standard controller in mind. you do not need to use the mouse to get around the button based camera controls work just fine

I did it all with just a fight stick. it was mildly annoying but fine
