^ It's not about make me "better" (...what the heck that means). It's about filtering those who are most toxic; and it's all but inarguable that it's the "Modern" and Ken players (as well as a combination thereof) who are the usual suspects.

For if Capcom refuse to give players the tools to tailor their online experience -- even removing the characters select screen, where players could simply decline a match where the opponent was not to their like (they can leave after a single match, anyway) -- then the players have to devise their own, ad hoc methods to make their gameplay experience less noxious.

how can people play modern consider toxic? The only way to identify toxic players is through something like a voice chat, a text box or they do tbagging etc. I dont understand why you group modern and ken player as toxic gamer though

I agree about filtering out toxic users. How about people who come to the SF6 forums to claim it's a bad game with no evidence? That's pretty unpleasant.

And who will you block once you've blocked all of them and still continue to lose, because you're not as good as you think you are, and you're suddenly out of scapegoats to blame for your losses? Wifi players? Players outside of your own country? Guiles? Juris? Anyone with a more expensive fight stick than you? Anyone with a higher LP than you? Or how about we cut to the chase and you just block everyone who beats you?

Can someone make a script that pre-emptively blocks people who might beat me? Although I guess that can emulate that by never opening the game again.

That cannot happen, as there is a 100-player limit for the block list. That, and now that I've nutted out the match-making issues, blocking players is all but compulsory.

NB: I don't block people who play normally and don't explicitly abuse the game's myriad broken mechanics. The only mandatory blocks are Moderns and Kens -- both after a single match (I give them their points... if they win) -- and those who are obviously using macros, lag cheats, or who jab-jab-jab all day.

That is such a huge portion of the community it's insane. Do you know how much certain characters rely on their jabs? You must ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate basically every version of gief to ever exist because c.LP and c.LK is to gief what water and oxygen is to regular people. I guess it adds up when you already want to ban ken though. You're a goofball man, I don't even know what to say.
