Or crying about how some female characters don't look like anime waifus.
As for Teebaging i barley ever encounter anyone who tee bags butt then again i win more games than i lose right now. Also supposedly Taunting is also supposedly frowned upon but il usually do it only if my opponent just refuses to go on the offensive if i have a life lead.
Its considered psychological warfare at competitive level. And may help you win or backfire.
And was never banned during EVO or other competitive events but then again its possible the players ware warned beforehand nowadays because i see less of it.
I try to be as respectful as possible but it does feel like nowadays people you call you out on anything other than being humble about wining.
I wonder why the games eve have tunts if you are not allowed to use them.
Kinda wish they bring back functional tounts from SFIII.
Hell the jojo fighting game had taunting knocked down opponents as an actual mechanic.
toxicity is a stupid term. people who are actually bad are the ones showering you with slurs and mass inviting you etc (mostly in other games). the stuff that could actually be compared to harassment because it's so relentless.
basically the people who go the extra mile to be a ♥♥♥♥.
Most of your real interactions with other players will most likely be outside of the game though. FGC people in places like message boards (not steam discussions), stream chats, and discord servers usually are willing to be helpful. As usual people on Twitter are crazies so I would just kind of stay away from that and just be a casual observer. Best way to enjoy the game is to find a group of people to play with consistently and measure your progress against.
SF6 is so fast there really isn't an opportunity to do goofy ♥♥♥♥ outside of stun windows (which are much rarer in this game than in previous editions). I only really troll Zangiefs who just play keep away and churn butter hoping I'll walk into a SPD. I will 100% get the life lead and lame them out with time scams at that point.
Punk was notorious for his "What?!?! I'm just buffering?" or "I think something is wrong with my controller" flexes after stunning opponents in SFV, and it was hilarious.
I've legit never seen even one instance of teabagging. Maybe it's just because I main Cammy, and visibly showing me you're not blocking is how you eat a spiral arrow.
