One thing I do want changed (but, that will never be changed), are the single-button input supers. Not only is a single button to activate a super nonsensical, given EX'd specials require two buttons (three for 'Gief's EX lariat); but, doing so, makes the unintended supers issue that much more likely.
Albeit, not the biggest problem with the SF games since c.SFV, it's one of the most inexplicable: Is it really that difficult for zoomers to press three buttons simultaneously; even in an era where most just map multi-button inputs to a single button, and, now, when "Modern" baby mode controls are present...?? 🥴
say in both games there's a super that's 236236P, and you accidentally do 23623P6, pressing the punch button a frame early. In Strive and other fighting games it'll give you the super anyway because it figures that's what you wanted to do to begin with.
In SF6 however you just do a crouching punch because it reckons you wanted to 3P, so hopefully that is something they'll change in the near future to bring it in line with its competitors. For the time being, just try and be conscious of finishing your directional inputs before hitting the required attack button.
How would thqt breqk balance if they just gave us the choice to set this up ?
