Supers Need To Be More Then One Button
I keep losing because the game makes it a super when I don't want to

As you can see, the answer to any criticism of a control scheme in a fighting game is to tell the critic to master the bad control scheme rather than admit that it is bad and should be changed.

Maybe you should get a snack or a nap man this is real gwumpy sounding haha

1 button super = this guy complains
2 button super = overlap with OD moves
3 button supers = controller players have a much harder time without binding that 3x input assistance tool.

1 buttons supers have been around, I think, literally forever so this isn't really a "get good" as much as it's a "yeah that's how supers work in this franchise".

Honestly it's less of a control scheme problem and more an issue with the input reader itself. Sometimes it feels like a mind of its own (though it does have a method to its madness).

Tekken used directionally based two button supers such as 3,LP+RP (or df1+2) And that works pretty well. Honestly its why I'm on Modern in SF6. Screw double qcf inputs.

This was one of the biggest problems with SFV -- unintentional supers... I even saw Daigo fall victim to it!

The problem is, Capcom are bent on dumbing-down the franchise, and adding multi-button commands flies in the face of their new, "Modern" mantra.

You really can't read 3 comments above? Doc was pretty spot on, the only SF game off the top of my head that has multi button supers is...I think USF4? Even super turbo and third strike use one button inputs for their supers, this isn't capcom dumbing down supers, it's just how the series has always worked.

I say make all buttons mappable to supers. So you can map any button to a specific super. That way, you can pull off light punch confirms and crazy ♥♥♥♥ and destroy all the learning needed.
