Report a translation problem
All characters have the same challenge with combo scaling.
First hit does 100%. Next one does 90%, then 80% and so on.
lvl3 super can't get below 50% so it's works well at the end of long combos.
So if you do lp > lp >lvl3 super the combo will be weaker than lvl3 super alone for any character in the game.
Combos after Perfect parry start from 50%
Combos after DI start from 70%.
Zangief lvl3 does 4800. If he does DI + lvl3 it does less damage - 4320.
That combo also isn't optimal. St. HK or st. HP are much better combo starters for Ryu. Lead to more routes than b. HK
My go to punish is st. HP EX donkey kick and DP but it's not great. I feel like I need to put out some more damage when I get the chance.
Anyone have any good combos, punish or otherwise?
A great meterless punish you can do after something like counter DI is st. HK > cr. MK > special

sorry havent played him in release version. seems liek he got reduced slightly in release.

either way his damage is fine.
