Street Fighter 6 is Infested with Cheaters
All right. I'm a Platinum player that is seriously worried about this game.

I don't care if you are a Capcom fanboy or if you just like to deny reality, but truth be told this game is infested with cheaters. They answer every single DI (not before hitting you twice). Jumps every single time you try to grab. Does miraculous combos that would leave the best SF player jealous. Blocks all your attacks (up, down, OH).

There's no more space for fair and plain competition on this game because this players are ruining the game. I don't take SF competitively or seriously for the forementioned reasons.

I'm not even talking about the unresponsive commands and how impossible it is to combo on a controller such as Xbox One (no diagonal).

The best time to play the game is around 2:00~3:00 AM because most of the cheaters are sleeping. I can see the diference on the gameplay of ppl who plays at evening and those who plays at near daybreak.

And please, don't be naive... doing a cheat for SF 6 is piece of cake and it's far from being rocket science. It's a shame that such good game is ruined by this kind of ppl. And no, I'm not blaming the ones who wins over me of cheating. There are some fights that I've lost but I've accepted it probably was all under fair play.

It's about time for Capcom put an anticheat on this game. It isn't a solution but at least it will make cheating a little harder.

If you are here just to say to me to "git gud", please, don't waste your time. I'm addressing here a problem and I want do discuss that. If you believe I'm nuts and that there's no cheaters on this game, just go to another discussion other than that.

I got 5 wins from someone "idle" on the Battle Hub the other day but left because it was getting boring.

Fun fact: like 99% of the profile was only losses.
Probably just farming kudos, or something.
Best to just spam a private match with 1 round to get a win for that sort of thing, no?

I don't know about infested, but it's really easy to use something like authotkey to just write a macro that does combos automatically for you. It's probably not "infested" with cheaters, but It might have a bit more than some people think.

If you suspect someone for using a macro you can probably see it in a replay if they do the same combo multiple times and the frame times are basically exactly the each time.

Yeah but they're suspecting people of doing input reading cheats which is a whole other ballgame lol.

We had one guy farming some points while idle in player matches.
I met another guy who just wanted to get rid of his yellow card.

AI cheaters cannot be caught, cheater can set delays to make it look like human. same goes with combo script and macros if they smart enough.

I'm not too worried about AI cheat. You have to go through a lot of trouble to buy it, and at €40 a month, it's not cheap.
If they look human and can't be caught, how does OP know that his opponents are cheating? or maybe he's just being salty after all?

Yep, that's the hard part, replay don't help much if cheater is smart. Both macros and combo scripts can add random delay too.

Point being that OP has no way of knowing anymore than we do, so how can they definitively say that they played against a cheater?
100% this was just a salt post.

Okay I need you guys to realize that combo scripts and input reading cheats are like a universe apart and not just say that "one exists so clearly the other does". lol

I realize that. I'm just using this dude's logic against the OP.
In the first place, any kind of cheating in FGs is extremely uncommon. The only FG I can think of where it isn't unreasonable to see it is Tekken since it has just-frame inputs, but even then it is still rare.
And input reading cheats just flat-out aren't a thing. There have been a couple cases of bots in other games, but Joe isn't gonna find an SF6 bot this early into the game's lifespan, if at all.

Ah yeah my bad. By "you guys" I meant people like him and the OP. I get what you're saying. You're actually making sense. lol

Give it up, brother, we can all see through the act. You're obviously trying to deflect from the massive influx of cheaters and hackers your criminal organization is pumping into the SF6 servers in order to rig matches and destroy the integrity of the sanctified institution that is ranked play. We're on to you. We will stand for this no longer!

Or they just have the muscle memory for their bread and butter combos? Lol

Why? I've got meaty setups that allow 2 hits while being safe to DI; who's to say your opponent doesn't have the same?
Also using DI against jab pressure is just asking for trouble.
