Street Fighter 6 is Infested with Cheaters

All right. I'm a Platinum player that is seriously worried about this game.

I don't care if you are a Capcom fanboy or if you just like to deny reality, but truth be told this game is infested with cheaters. They answer every single DI (not before hitting you twice). Jumps every single time you try to grab. Does miraculous combos that would leave the best SF player jealous. Blocks all your attacks (up, down, OH).

There's no more space for fair and plain competition on this game because this players are ruining the game. I don't take SF competitively or seriously for the forementioned reasons.

I'm not even talking about the unresponsive commands and how impossible it is to combo on a controller such as Xbox One (no diagonal).

The best time to play the game is around 2:00~3:00 AM because most of the cheaters are sleeping. I can see the diference on the gameplay of ppl who plays at evening and those who plays at near daybreak.

And please, don't be naive... doing a cheat for SF 6 is piece of cake and it's far from being rocket science. It's a shame that such good game is ruined by this kind of ppl. And no, I'm not blaming the ones who wins over me of cheating. There are some fights that I've lost but I've accepted it probably was all under fair play.

It's about time for Capcom put an anticheat on this game. It isn't a solution but at least it will make cheating a little harder.

If you are here just to say to me to "git gud", please, don't waste your time. I'm addressing here a problem and I want do discuss that. If you believe I'm nuts and that there's no cheaters on this game, just go to another discussion other than that.

There are definitely cheaters in this game, but they sure as hell aren't in Platinum.

i even found somebody cheating in platin, you can tell it so easy guys, they cant block properly, they cant do damage, but they can counter every drive impact instantly, and you just need to watch the replay with inputs on and you will see that when you press drive impact, the cheaters inputs just on the same frame like your inputs = cheating, cause no human can instantly repsond to drive impact, maybe 1x randomly but not like 10-15x. I had gasmes against ppl where it was not possible to use drive impact cause they just counter it instantly on 1 = same Frame. But Like the other guy said, you can even tell if they use scripts for combos, they just run out of bars so fast and you can punish them for having 0 bars :O

Drive impact makes the loudest most obvious noise possible every single time. Most people with a pulse can react to it very consistently unless its in a guaranteed scenario or a setup.

Almost every single person who thinks someone is anti DI'ing in one frame is just wrong as even the cheats are generally set to 3 frames exactly although I dont know the reason for that.

If you actually think they are doing frame one DI's post a replay ID and prove it? its super easy to do and irrefutable. Anything else is probably just someone trying to deny being bad.

Most of the arguments I've seen trying to discredit people by saying "get good", "so what", or "its only a small amount" is just gaslight or a way to defer the real issue or to shift the blame. Kinda like if you don't think about it the problem will go away, which is a fallacy.

In fact most of these people are glorifying cheaters. Your essentially saying we don't care and you can keep doing it. Which then in turn will push people to find out where they can get such cheats because it doesn't matter right? Thus making the cheating population grow.

Is there cheaters? Yes, there is tons of videos online about it. Yes, there is forums and discord servers selling these cheats. Will people actually hold capcom accountable? No, because they're spineless and just want that quick dopamine hit.

The quickest way to get a company to listen is to hurt their profits.

It is very easy to implement an anti-cheat engine. Currently the game only has a DRM protection engine, this does not stop scripts and other cheats.

Most of those "easy to implement anti-cheat engines" are just as easy to bypass. I've played my share of games with alleged anti-cheat systems that still had cheater problems over the past few decades, several of which had far more widespread cheater issues than SF6 has going on, and the ones that have better success rates are deeply invasive into the inner workings of your PC. So maybe, just maybe, it's not as easy as you're thinking.

What a lot of us are saying here is that this cheater scare mongering is really just making people paranoid and giving scrubs everywhere a convenient excuse to not take responsibility for their own L. "Oh they punished my jump-ins consistently, an obvious cheater!" rather than humouring the notion that their jump-ins were just very obvious.

Nobody is denying that there's cheaters in SF6 and nobody is saying that Capcom shouldn't do anything about it. What we're saying is that the numbers are greatly inflated and that people are resorting to just accusing anyone that gets a Perfect off of them of cheating rather than humouring the notion that their game plan was painfully transparent.

Oh hey haven't seen you in a bit. If you want to confirm if you're dealing with a cheater it might be an idea to at least not alt+F4 out of the match so you can check the replay to examine their inputs.
