Street Fighter 6 is Infested with Cheaters

All right. I'm a Platinum player that is seriously worried about this game.

I don't care if you are a Capcom fanboy or if you just like to deny reality, but truth be told this game is infested with cheaters. They answer every single DI (not before hitting you twice). Jumps every single time you try to grab. Does miraculous combos that would leave the best SF player jealous. Blocks all your attacks (up, down, OH).

There's no more space for fair and plain competition on this game because this players are ruining the game. I don't take SF competitively or seriously for the forementioned reasons.

I'm not even talking about the unresponsive commands and how impossible it is to combo on a controller such as Xbox One (no diagonal).

The best time to play the game is around 2:00~3:00 AM because most of the cheaters are sleeping. I can see the diference on the gameplay of ppl who plays at evening and those who plays at near daybreak.

And please, don't be naive... doing a cheat for SF 6 is piece of cake and it's far from being rocket science. It's a shame that such good game is ruined by this kind of ppl. And no, I'm not blaming the ones who wins over me of cheating. There are some fights that I've lost but I've accepted it probably was all under fair play.

It's about time for Capcom put an anticheat on this game. It isn't a solution but at least it will make cheating a little harder.

If you are here just to say to me to "git gud", please, don't waste your time. I'm addressing here a problem and I want do discuss that. If you believe I'm nuts and that there's no cheaters on this game, just go to another discussion other than that.

It is mind blowing how many people in this thread defend these cheaters. Is it your first day on the internet? Are you not aware that literally every online game cheating is just fn rampant? Why would SF6 be any different? People aren't just salty because they are losing, they are salty because people are doing things frame perfect, 100% of the time, and obviously running scripts. I'm not saying there are so many it is game breaking or more than any other game, but they are obviously there.

Cheaters are extremely rare bordering on non existent in street fighter 6 especially below master rank as the entire system is designed to push you to master.

Once master they are still extremely rare but there's a few. They get their MR hard locked at 1500 quickly though.

It's all very well known and very well documented.

That's a video of a single cheater at 1930 MR which would be in the top 1,000 players or 0.089% of players.

That's literally showing you that they get forced towards the top and are obscenely rare right there.

Broski has some good content regarding cheaters at that level he's encountered all of 3-4 in thousands of hours of play you can dig it up yourself easy enough. I'm busy today and not going hunting on my cellphone.

There are very few cheaters In SF6. There absolutely no cheaters in Platinum ranks in SF6. You have to actively try to not win your way out of plat when not cheating ffs.

Plat 5 Is around when people learn how to block.

OP just found the difference between a casual and someone that only play this game full time.
But i do agree that the commands are unresponsible, the inputs need too much precision to activate the skills. I play with a fight commander and sometimes my inputs just dont work.

I dug as deep as I could in this week's talk of the guy and nothing seems to suggest he's been found guilty of cheating. Last night he even played in Nuckledu's Arm The Rebels Cup, getting himself a respectable third place. He also can't use scripts at offline events and still managed to get second place at Combo Breaker. So I don't see why someone of his calibre would use them in online play.

If he doesn't get banned at CEO next weekend or Evo next month, and if his team doesn't fire him I'll go out on a limb and say that Noah is prooooobably not using scripts.

If I missed out on some credible evidence it's still welcome to be presented of course.

I thought that was only an issue with Xbox controllers. dang, guess I'm glad I got this game on sale rather than full price.

The Asia Pacific region is rife with cheaters. It's actually pretty bad to the extent where I can only play private lobbies with friends and known players lest I encounter nothing but cheaters both in ranked and casual matches.

Capcom's silence on the issue is a shame. I'd like them to at least acknowledge it is a very real and widespread issue.

well over 99% of claims of cheater just trace back to people being bad and salty.

Cheating is extremely rare in street fighter 6. You are not encountering exclusively cheaters in fact you've probably never even encountered a cheater.

Yeah, cheating is common these days, but you still need skill to beat a good playr with it. On the other hand, there are scrub tactics which are in every fighting game that can feel like cheats.
