I do this lol
I like DR as it is tho. It's a lot of fun.
As I've stated, if characters like Man: On and 'Gief are best played / most effectively used as if they are Cammys or Kens -- which is exactly how top players play them (see: dom / SnakEyes) -- it tells you that the universal mechanic/s of the game has/have trampled over the characters' respective, and what are meant to be their unique gameplay archetypes.
When, from halfway across the screen, a Juri can DR into an auto-combo, get two of her attacks snuffed by a DI done on reaction, only for them to then press HP+HK and beat (counter) the DI that [initially] beat said DR combo*, the former mechanic is unequivocally, unarguably, indubitably broken... Lo and behold, the very reason you're seeing it [ab]use online so much! 👌😂
*I've had this occur to me, multiple times, with varying characters, and have seen it happen time and again in streams... The "DPS salt" compilation videos, for example, has him squealing about this constantly.
Or, you could have actually read the thread and realized this isn't a balance discussion.
Every character playing the exact same way is a bad thing, not a good thing.
Also, "I'm plat, I know what I'm talking about" is lmao.
