Yellow Card?

How long do I keep matching up with other yellow card players. I ended up getting one from a random dissconnect. This was like 3 or 4 days ago and it is still matching me up with yellow and red card players. How long til this goes away?

People have recommended that you go and play a bit in the battle hub if you have a yellow card.

Well that's news to me. I guess it's just those pieces of old advice that people keep repeating.

After release when the game was constantly dropping out of the network, I got yellow cards from it multiple times. I had one card go away after playing one game in battle hub, another card that I played at least 40 games between ranked yellow cards, and a card I swear I didn't play for 24hrs and it just went away by itself. But I don't want to say that it's just 24hrs because I do hear a lot of stories about cards lasting more than 24hrs.
It's possible OP et al. are just playing matching with people and then those people are quitting e.g. after the match (but it's still "quitting the match" through the lens of capcom braindamage) and that's extending the timer.

I am having the same issue.
About 3 days ago, I had about 3 disconnects from matches in a row. This was a one time occurence, normaly my connection (wired) is very stable. It was enough to give me a 24h ban and a yellow card.

I am still stuck with the yellow card 3 days later. Meanwhile I have played 89 matches against other yellow card players (ranked + casual matches). During this time, there have been zero disconnects during matches. In 4 cases, a connection could not be established when trying to match me with the other player, before the start of the match.

So, at the moment I really don't know what the game wants from me, or if the yellow card is going to be removed ever at all.

Funny thing is that not a single one of my fellow "delinquents" with yellow cards disconnected during a match or showed other bad behaviour. This card system punishes innocent players without a hint of an explanation what is going on, or what you are supposed to have done wrong.

UPDATE:
Shortly after writing this, I finally got rid of the yellow card. It took me between 90 and 95 ranked and casual matches, which seems pretty crazy. Also took about 3.5 days.

I think it's appropriate that it's not easy to just immediately get rid of otherwise it wouldn't be very punishing for RQs. However as of now it's not a good system because of how much instability people have reported with the servers
