I don't really see what that has to do with anything, that's your personal situation, Gief also does have good matchups against fairly popular chars online I just think his kit is more trouble than it's worth.
That's alot for the highest rank in the game month 2, after all these years SFV doesn't have anywhere near this amount in master.
If you enjoy the game and your character and you don't mind where you are placed then does it really matter that some people can place into diamond and fail upwards?
I don't like when people whine that they can't get into masters because they are playing Gief.

Hmm..thats about it :)
if we average that you get 55 points per win and 40 points per loss you need over 14K matches at 43% consistent winrate to get from Plat 1 to Master.
somewhere above between 42.10% and 42.11% is the lowest winrate with that point distribution that leads to a positive point outcome and it requires over million matches to reach from Plat 1 to Master.
This nonsense that any scrub who's bad at the game can eventually just get to masters rank if they play long enough is utter nonsense. Let's also remember that to keep a steady winrate as you progress through higher ranks you actually need to keep improving. If you don't improve you'll just start losing more because the players you keep meeting as you climb will also be better, which will lower your winrate.
IF you don't put in the work to actually practice the game and gain more knowledge you will not be getting to masters, ever.
I want to see those people hard stuck in plat1 winning 42% of games against diamonds5 and Masters. Must be so easy /s
Thank you very much! Its refreshing to read facts for a change. So much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in here and peoples opinions disguised as facts.
