Can't block on wakeup after latest update?

I've tested it multiple times with a friend, when i get knocked down and hold block it doesn't work bc the enemy can just spam light punches so what do i do then capcom xd

No way! Am I misreading? You can't block?! Take a screenshot with key and frame display or better make a video.

Then use wakeup move or jump. If he's spamming light punch then he's not gonna guard against your wake up move (which I guess depending on character is instantaneous, Ken being the most prolific lmao)

everycharacter can just wake up light jab somebody or cr lp somebody

Thats just plain wrong
Blanka has a Fully invincible special, Level 1 is invincible against non projectiles and Level 3 is full invicible
Cammy also has invincible special, Level 1 is also invicible against non projectiles and Level 3 is full invincible
Chun Li has invincible special, Level 1 is also invincible against non projectiles but also has a projectile hitbox with super priority
Level 2 is fully invincible until the first active frame
and Level 3 is fully invincible.
Dee Jay has an invincible Special and level 2 and 3 are fully invincible
Dhalsim Level 2 and Level 3 are fully invincible
Also Yoga Teleport is fully invincible from frame 5 forward so if the opponent messes up the timing it can get you out.
E.Honda has 2 hits of armor on OD Headbutt Level 1 is invicible against non projectiles. Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible
Guile has an invincible special Level 1 is invicible against anything non projecticle but also is a projectile itself so will negate most projectiles Level 3 is fully invincible.
Jamie has an invincible special move Level 1 is invincible against non projectiles and Level 3 is fully invincible.
JP has an invincible special, Level 1 is non projecticle invincible but also a projectile itself, Level 3 fully invincible.
Juri has an invincible Special, Level 1 is invincible against non projectiles Level 3 is fully invincible.
Ken has an invincible Special, Level 1 is non projectile invincible, Level 3 is fully invincible.
Kimberly Level 1 is invincible against non projectiles and Level 3 is fully invincible.
Lily Level 1 is non projectile invincible Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible.
Luke has invincible special Level 1 is non projectile invincible, Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible.
Manon Level 1 is invincible against non projectiles Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible.
Marisa has access to instant Armor Level 1 Super has 2 Armor hits, Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible.
Rashid has invincible special Level 1 is non projectile invincible and Level 3 is fully invincible.
Ryu has invincible Special Level 1 super in non projectile invincible and Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible.
Zangief can counter certain standing kicks Level 1 is fully invincible (tho a bit useless most of the time) Level 2 and 3 are fully invincible

So you cant tell me your character has no wakeup option literally everyone has one, some are more expensive but there isnt a single character with none

test it on training room, record the Dummy to do hard knockdown like crouching HK, jump, then do whatever on wakeup.
I literally just play battle hub and got put in corner, block on wakeup is fine.

If you're a platinum 3 alt color 9 Zangief, I've checked a few replays and I can't find a good instance of you just blocking on wakeup, mostly waking up with EX lariat. In one instance "you" (accidentally?) jumped back instead of blocking and got hit by Blanka Doll.

You hold down back then after 3 light punches you'll be +1 and it's your turn
