Avatar battles...
They need to rework it, make it so they are no levels nor gear. Health and damage scaled to what master you use, and while the match is loading, show the ability your opponent picked. Why not make it fun and balanced? also ranked avatar battle could be fun.

I agree it needs to be normalized. Also high lvl character vs high level character matches are a drag. IT takes way too long to mow down 3 health bars especially when both players are playing somewhat evenly and not just being free fodder.

I only ever do avatar battles anymore if they have drive tickets tied to them other than that, Yeah no.

Once you reach lvl100 and fight against other lvl100 it becomes better I think. Matches aren't that long also, even if yes, longer than standard fights.
Your points are still valid under max level, but I guess you'll all be level 100 by the time they do something about it.

Showing their attacks while it loads should be a priority, agree with that.

Leveling to lv 100 became extremelly easy now with the new Side-quest Missions that they added.

I got to lv 100 in the 1st 2 weeks of release, and I thought that the lv cap will be increased but it was not.

I just continue to grind the last Side-quest Mission that was added in the Rashid patch to get gear, and to cap the XP of the other Masters.

Even if they do something like this, there will probably still be an optimal body build, leading to every avatar looking the same. But seeing that meta form might be fun.

It is a silly mode and I have zero interest, but I'm in favor of things getting changed, just to see what further silliness can arise

Avatar battle mode is only a fun mode, it will never be COMPETITIVE. It is already very complicated to maintain a balance on characters with a predetermined style, do not demand the impossible for the avatars.

once you get to level 100 and fight other level 100s it becomes the absolute worst. Matches take way too long to end.

My initial experience with Avatar matches were lvl 60s stomping on my lvl10 char. Some might say it's a mechanic for the beginner to play with the experienced, but experienced one will meta game even more. The only time I'll consider coming back for it would be probably after lvling my char to 100.

I would love for the damage to be standardized in online hub. Maybe HP diff based the character style.

Keep gear, it adds a level of customization. I'd be fine with evening out level differences, but keep in mind that lower level avatars won't have as many move slots unlocked. Underleveled people will still be at a disadvantage.

I'm not saying gear need to be gone, we can keep it for world tour sure, but once you start an avatar battle, the gear score/ stats should be removed, and only the master/style should be taken into account for health/damage.

Gotta disagree. Everyone has access to all gear if they just earn it in WT, same with the movesets they have to unlock. If people want to spec their gear to match their movesets, that's a great level of customization that adds to the PVP.

The gear is fine and makes it fun. What they need to do is make it so that stacking the same perk doesn't work. So if someone decides to wear, lets say... Oh, I don't know, 6 FATAL COUNTER items it only applies the affects of one of them and the other ones have no affect. This will end the stupid (though hilarious) builds that can KO in one hit and the other cheese builds you see.
