on tier lists hes usually A,B Tier.
Jamie starts out awful but gets really strong, Manon gets very scary after a throw or two. It's fun that way, you kinda earn your power. They should definitely have her buffs reset after a round though, like everyone else's. Seems weird that her's specifically don't.
lol
Any one of these would be fine. Some of these would be better than others, also not all are my original ideas:
- Start him at %100 damage. +5 every 2nd drink.
- Keep 1/2 drinks rounded down between rounds. 1 drink would reset to 0, 2/3 to 1, 4 to 2.
- OD drink - Two drive bars for an invincible drink.
2nd idea sort of incorporates the 1st - get four drinks and you're starting at %100 damage. I like the OD drink idea the best though. It gives you drinks for drive bar - that is pretty fair.
If he gets no buffs I'm still playing him.
would probably have to tweak level 2 super if buffed like that, or not, since they are temporary.
Just to clarify I feel at MOST Jamie should get ONE of the things I mentioned.
With all three of those he is probably borderline busted. OD drink and keep drinks between rounds? Yeah busted.
♥♥♥♥. Forgot Hakan had that. Yeah that would be money.
Maybe EX drink could be ok, but it should only be projectile invincible and I'd only want it if several months down the road people still think he's not good enough. Which is unlikely because even now peoples' opinions on Jamie are shifting positively on tier lists and such.
Good news about him though is even though he doesn't have full damage you really can go to level 2 and be fine since by that point you can get your looping oki started pretty easy. At that point you can just optimize your routes to end with a drink and still be safe.
Yeah fireballs suck but universal mechanics can generally deal with them better than trying to read with bakki.
Only gripe I have with him is not being able to do a divekick from a neutral jump.
