Like you mention there is zero post game, but a whole lot of masters to level up. You may max two by your first playthrough.... Like you, I also noticed that a new save meant new avatar. Yikes 😬
All in all I still think it's the right direction for Street Fighter games. It wasn't just fun but I think it was a great way to show players many of the mechanics in the game. All the way from simple stuff like blocking to more advanced ideas like how to perfect parry and what type of strings you should look to parry.
I just hope we get expansions for this game and don't have to wait for SF7.
The way you equip moves needs to be overhauled just a little bit. Let us choose the input to an extent. It won't break the game to let us do a back quarter circle kick to make a hadouken.
This would also save the way supers are arbitrarily and obnoxiously bound to button strength...
EXACTLY, I've maxed out only Guile, Juri and Zangief, and it feels like theres no game left to do everyone else. event the highest level enemies im beating the piss out of lol.
Fingers desperately crossed that Capcom and give us something to boost replayability.
At the very least, it would be nice to see world tour let you choose your initial master, but that would require a huge overhaul I guess. I do want to see more of it though; I am not a competitive player, but I absolutely am loving this game because of world tour specifically, like a RPG fighting game like this is super fun.
and they did add repeatable post game content
you have endless tournaments in Haggar stadium that will allow you to level character styles after you have done everything else
not every time i wanna go against level 8 cpus that can read my mind.
