It almost like lame zoners or characters that spam a lot of generally safe BS are zero fun to play against
Sf6 has a lack of honest characters in general, way too much spam and plus on block BS in this game, then throw in cringe impact and you have one dumbed down brain dead SF experience
Lame spam character
Headbutt and butt slam require perfect parties to properly punish, throw in lag and that’s easier said then done. Why headbutt is borderline safe on block I’ll never understand, same with blanka ball
Honda is easy to get to masters with. Got him to the 25k mark before I just lost interest in playing him. People in plat/diamond just don’t know how to deal with his BS from my experience.
And after awhile I was asking myelf how to evade the grab, because it seems to me that his c.grab looks the same as that one move where he's sending out his demons to attack.
Hard for me to make a difference, but I think I just have to listen and wait until JP's saying "Halloween". Otherwise I dont know what's the difference.
If these moves wouldn’t be save on block they would be uber trash and pointless outside of combos.
For blanka ball and headbutt you simply jump back at the right time and do a full fat combo. You can DI Honda if done early. Or do an anti air dp if your character has one. Marisa and Gief have moves that can armour through it and punish.

Plenty of characters have moves that are pretty much just combo finishers
Moves like cammy’s cannon drill, super unsafe on block, can use the ex version to punish fireballs and that’s pretty much it’s only use outside of combo enders
So why should Honda and blanka get special treatment? Safe spammable moves is terrible game design, these two dumb characters can go die in an inferno.
Just the sheer volume of plus on block moves in this game is truly shocking. So much terrible game design in general
JP is fun to fight for me when i play characters whit gap closer specials.
But yea its suffering if you play Zangief or Marisa.
His younike mechanic is that he can pressure you from any range.
But the pressure is unsafe so if you predict it you can punish him.
These types of characters make the game fun. It would be really boring if everyone played like a shoot. The reason why JP seems boring/frustrating is because you lack matchup knowledge. Right now you probably found one way of dealing with him and it's just tedious. Once you find more possibilities the match will become more fun.
