SF2 Arcade cabinet, was it always so hard?
I legit don't remember it being hard to the point where I can maybe win 1 out of every 20 games or so, the level of input reading is absolutely mental, and the damage disparity between the AI and the player is nuts, by which I mean they can do a simple jumping heavy kick and crouching heavy and take 50% of your life, I do the same to them and take maybe 20%, I wanted to have a bit of fun on the classics in between SF6 gameplay but it's so impossibly hard it's sucked all the fun out of it for me, and I can't find any way to lower the difficulty.

AI is bugged and is set to highest difficulty regardless of what you select. JP version was properly programmed, but unfortunately we don't get to choose so we're stuck with a super frustrating, barely playable version unless you really know how to cheese the AI.

Well that sucks, is there no chance of getting the "fixed" version so we can actually play it without wanting to tear our hair out?

Unfortunately its not. I don't know why Capcom can't be bothered to fix the damn thing, it was also a problem in SF30th Anniversary Collection.

It is the same in the fighting collection but there you can choose between jp and us. At this point it feels like an intentional running gag by Capcom:steamhappy:

HSF2 was in CFC, but yeah at least you can properly play that one. Weird how the same glitch carried over to the updated version of Super Turbo, as if nobody noticed.

I guess Arcade Stadium version also lets you switch, but it'd be nice if SF6 had more options for these.

You are correct with HSF2, but if I'm not mistaken the bug carried through the versions.

yeah I've been getting pounded. I'd say I've won maybe 2 out of 10 games since I bought this.

They wanted to provide the original quarter harvesting gameplay I guess!
