Like if he was playing on training grid and you picked something else, he'd see the grid and you'd see your own stage.
But then again people on PC would just mod them back in.
When you fight you certainly don't stop and admire the scenery unless you want to be kicked in the face by your opponent.
So Capcom should remove a map from online just because it doesn't look good and you don't like it.
For your information many players choose that map because it has less lag, no visual effects and improves performance since SFV has a big netcode problem that was never fixed, except through an unofficial patch which unfortunately no longer works.
