i don't have access to the beta so it would be nice if someone can confirm it or tell us exactly what's going on
They're locked to 60FPS because of frame rate data. If this game has cross-play then they have to limit it across all systems so that there's no advantage to online play.
That is simply not true lol

Fps games are NOT FGC Games
As many guys said before, most fighting games run constantly on 60fps REGARDLESS OF your PC performance or internet speed

Most fighting games run at 60fps. The reason is that FGs have frame data that are built on that fixed frame rate. Each attack has a fixed number of startup/active/recovery frames, and the math works around that to make it simple while also ensure nothing funny occurs because people are running different
