Black screen but hear game audio
Title says everything. When I open the game, display is back no matter if it's fullscreen or windowed. I hear game audio. Specs are on my profile.

Here is a translation of the important part of this symptom:

If this happens on a PC with the latest RADEON graphics card driver installed, please change the driver to Adrenalin 22.5.1 (WHQL) and play.

Sad to hear it. :steamsad:

I'm also using Windows 10, but with an older NVIDIA card (1060 GTX), and I'm not experiencing any problems. I get sound and image, and everything appears to be working well.

Hopefully the developers will patch this quickly, so that you can all enjoy the game.

Same here...
My GPU is AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

Disabling the sub of the dual monitors didn't work either.

Trying to run the game on Proton using a GTX1050Ti, same issue

Running with the latest Radeon GPU drivers (on both a 6700XT and 6900XT setup), and I happened to notice this issue. I can seemingly only play the game on Steam Deck at the moment, so it's an issue that stems down to AMD's Windows drivers.

I do have other issues with how certain things in the port are handled (Resolution options only going up to 1080p, no borderless fullscreen mode, the default video mode being FSE instead of Windowed mode (Which causes problems with long resolution switching times), and despite the framecounter claiming the game is running at 120FPS, it feels like the game is still updating at 60FPS), but so far it's a fun game (setting aside the lack of co-op multiplayer). Definitely a step in the right direction coming from the issues that the Saturn rereleases had on PC.

They are apparently working on a patch for the game to fix the black screen issue. EDIT: Success themselves have confirmed that they aren't patching anything else outside of the black screen issue: https://twitter.com/SUCCESS_Corp/status/1613041282833879040

Imagine being fine waiting three years after the console version already released (and the lack of any communication) for a cashgrab straight port with very visible issues.
Teknoparrot was able to play the arcade version for a while. Yuzu can emulate the Switch version with higher resolutions. This is this year's Mary Skelter 2 in terms of a disappointing port.

This is still immensely better than Studio Saizensen's prior PC ports, so I give it some slack there. It's a step in the right direction, and for me it works great after I downgraded my drivers. I know a guy who works there and they definitely do listen to feedback, so leave a review with some nice suggestions and they'll listen to you.

Though I disagree with you on the uncapped framerate, honestly. It's a shmup so I'm not expecting it have uncapped framerates, a lot of them are designed with 60hz in mind and there's not much that can be done about that. The only shmup that does truly have an uncapped framerate from what I remember is R-Type Final 2, and that was possibly a consequence of it being Unreal 4.
