Well they kept pointing out you got it for free if you used the stream workshop.
I agree, it didn't seam too bad in that case but I was unsure why it was there.
Yeah $1 is pretty cheap considering the alternatives, but this is coming from someone who has bought a lot of productivity software in the past.
I guess if I were a casual user I might think differently?
The only payment system that changed with this update is the single import charge. The rest are the same as before.
Please contact us at support[@]animaze.us so our art team can give you some suggestions on how to fix the models. Also you can read the documentation here: https://www.animaze.us/manual
Not on our roadmap for now.
We'll take this into consideration. For now the process can be found here: https://www.animaze.us/manual
I don't even understand the choice of making another software when the old one was good enough.
you could simply regularly update the old one and add some paid DLC content, and I'm pretty sure it isn't too late to do that, especially with vtubers boom.
just remove animaze and update facerig.
They cant update the old software because they use code from other companies which no longer update their code or otherwise have contracts expired and would need to renew license fees to continue with that product.
Instead of relying on other companies they made new software so they own all parts of it and can update things going forward.
Right now, I agree that facerig and live-2d is the better option. The eventual hope is that this software somehow offers more than their previous software at some point.
I would LOVE to see tobii face/eye tracking support added personally. This would be a pro feature that takes it a step farther.
though they could have chosen a similar type of economical model.
a free model doesn't work in this case.
